It used glitches, this Koga run is by far the most impressive thing I've every seen in Dark Souls.

Yeah, it used the Kiln glitch. According to speeddemosarchive, it would be classified as a "Major Skip" run. It doesn't compete with the 59 minute run in any way. Lots of people understandably are more impressed with the fastest non-glitched run. I am too, but really both are cool.

yeah i could care less about a major skip speed run. but one with no glitches now thats impressive
