life hunt scythe also fits the bill aesthetically.... and for rings probably steel protection or poise and the dwgr
would be fun if you could pull off blaire or stein but thats unlikely....
also a chrona build (wanted to do one myself but haven't gotten around to it) use a darksword for that...

with crona i'd make the sword elemental and gouge resistance and vit with the extra points as hid hardening blood ability. the lifehunt would work and i could even justify the ability as souls black blood resonance he does with the piano, but i'd need the bleed shield...:/ i'll have to see if lifehunt is close enough to overlook the shield on her back. can it be buffed btw? if not i'm not sure....lol i could just use both. great with dmb and if i dont kill them in time switch.
