The Pendant

So we all know the pendant had no "true" use in Dark Souls. Yet a pendant is shown on the new DSII website.

What do you think about this:
They add an update to Dark Souls (the original) that gives the pendant a use. A use that directly links to Dark Souls II in some way. Maybe it's add items for your character, or add to the story in some way or another.

Just wondering if anyone else thought about this...

The Pendant on the website looks different, but there's no way they didn't realize we would try and connect it to the Pendant that we all know and love.

The pendant will become a thing like patches or like bahamut I think. It'll be in every game so we know its a souls game. And then in the 4th game it will have a meaning and no one will ever know ... except the PC hackers

They're taunting the lore hunters now.

The sad part tho is, people will still be poisoned with "pendant mystery", poor undead people. They suffer being undead AND they suffer this fake dream of pendant mystery.

Damn you pendant!

The pendants use will only be discovered after many play throughs they said....

So you must have to go to NG7 with the pendant in DKS and carry that save file over to DKS II, and then all the secrets shall unfold.

IMHO, Main character will carry pendant with him, and in the end of the game he will finally look at it do something AND...................Credits will roll

It always felt right to me to start a new game with the Pendant. Makes the game more challenging (no master key) and added a sort of magic to it all.
After all, the memories make the journey.

My vote: it is still a troll tactic, like in DkS. At least it will be until one of you professional lore hunters find out the secret.
