Re: TOURNAMENT OF THE UNDEAD (EVENT)
If it's going to be as long as I think it might before my match happens, I might run another character to the meeting place. After practicing some, I'm thinking that the small amount of poise you get with some of the base armors is going to trump the fast roll. Even with the tiny amount you get with the standard helmet alone it's difficult to break through with a poopy weapon like the scimitar.

Dude a throwing knife breaks through the standard helms poise, trust me, 5 isent enough to do anything.PlasticandRage wrote:If it's going to be as long as I think it might before my match happens, I might run another character to the meeting place. You don't think so? I was considering running a knight down. It favors my style more anyway.

Yeah the knight is the only class with enough poise to handle more than one hit without stagger.PlasticandRage wrote:You don't think so? I was considering running a knight down. It favors my style more anyway.

I'm considering it. I'm pretty sure they start out mid rolling, don't they? If they fat roll it's not worth it, IMO

I have bad news.
I will upload the videos later. And i'll probably include the fights we had after the "official" ones.

Re: TOURNAMENT OF THE UNDEAD (EVENT)
Its deff fat, but good poise is a good trade off for it, since the broad sword swings fast and it stunlocks every other class but its up to you.PlasticandRage wrote:I'm considering it. I'm pretty sure they start out mid rolling, don't they? If they fat roll it's not worth it, IMO

You could try to type your thoughts instead of just posting "grumble".

Hmm. I think I may just go for it. Hell, you fought me with the wanderer the other night. Can't get much worse than that. Also, I guess with no BSing, the fat rolling won't be the end of the world. I really like the wanderer set up too. If I had one poise piece and a Falchion instead of a Scimitar, it'd definitely be my choice, but thems the rules I suppose.

Sorry to hear that Robin...but running a Deprived, though a challenge, was meant to be FUN!...first and foremost! So, hopefully FUN! was the ultimate victor!
And do post those vids soon...my Deprived might learn a thing or three

Re: TOURNAMENT OF THE UNDEAD (EVENT)
I just sent out a bunch of PM's to everybody concerning their matches.
Also, Bees, what starting class did you use? Wanderer? Also, what was the score out of the best of three?

The only thing you can learn is that the club sucks
It was fun while it lasted though
And i'll try to upload the vids as soon as possible.
