How often do you get matchups at SL300 and above?

Are you referring to inside the arena or general pvp?
The arena is 200+ however at lvl 210 I'm luck to connect to 2 players in an entire night.
In standard pvp you'd be lucky to bump into more that 2 or 3 unless you arrange a duel, which isn't too hard, or if you pvp in areas like the forest where players into the 700s commonly pvp as host and hunter thanks to the removal of level ranges.
Edit: Rereading it makes it sound terrible being high level however you just need to be more resourceful to find players. Also those you do run into around your level will be some of the best fights and comrades you'll encounter in the game.
The other night I was invaded half a dozen times in a row by the same darkmoon in royal woods until we started chatting (xbox private chat) and then we spent the rest of the night as host and phantom taking terns fighting invaders 1v1.

If you host, you'll get action anywhere you go at that level. If you want to invade, join the Forest Hunters since there is no level restrictions on invading. You can also try Darkmoons, but I find that slow to begin with.

PvP has dead zones, in the most interesting manner. A PvP hot time becomes ice cold, and the times where most players report not being able to find anyone becomes hotspots.
The game likes to match up level 120 to level 120, so if PvP is hot at the time, you'll not get duels because everyone will get duels closer to their level, however when there isn't as many people on, the game throws you far more bones, and my level 500 often gets far more duels then my 120 in that time.

The arena has been slow for the most part because of the video glitch. Alot of my buds stopped playing there because they hated the fact that they couldnt see the magic castings. I dont blame them it really made PVP in that area difficult. At 710 I mostly pvp in the forest and I see no slowness there what so ever. That place is always busy. If you can stand to be challenged against 2v1 or 3v1 or fun fights like 2v2 then the forest is for you. I also still get invades in other areas of the game as well. I think more so because people are now leveling up their toons because of the DLC and nerf items. I personally think this is a great thing. High level fighting is the test of your skills. You dont have the comfort of build advantages at all. Up here you can be what you want to be. Its the most skilled fighter that will win the battle not the most advantagous build. I know some feel 120 is the spot but honestly its not anymore. Level up and challenging yourself. If you enjoy facing the majority of your fights against noob players then yes 120 will be busy and you can grief on all the new toons down there. But if you like a challenge against high skilled and intelligent players level up. You will see a difference thats a garentee. I fought against a couple of youtuber 120 players who were unfortunate to be ported up here. Im sure they noticed it as well. Again it is busy on pretty much all levels. This is coming from someone who has played all levels. Just my opin.
