    on ps3 iv'e run into a few players who somehow have cyclopses as characters... they seem to have melded the eyes together in the character editor but when i try to do it i cant get anything close... anyone know how this is done?

    It seems like you can tweak the editor until it forces the eyes together, all i could find is this, it's in japanese but it's definitely possible.

    It's possible to get one eye, but you'll end up loosing the nose and the mouth in the process, as what you are effectively doing is folding the two sides of the face in on themselves (if that makes any sense).

    I think I read somewhere that playing through as a cyclops to NG7 without dying with the pendant as a starting gift unlocks a secret door somewhere....

    You guys just don't get it, do ya? Miyazaki was pulling the old reverse psychology trick on us when he announced that it does nothing. Probably in response to the fans deciphering the cyclops trick. He knows that we are close, so he's trying his damndest to keep his little secret.

    I've actually made white characters that make the Dubious Carim one look dark in comparison. (Bonus points for looking like the spawn of Seath when hollowed) Pitch black is way harder to achieve though.

    Juutas- I see what you mean, I tried it yesterday afternoon, and whilst getting a pure white is pretty easy, getting your character to pure black or anything remotely close to a shade of black is nigh on impossible. The problem is the top skin tone bar moves in the oppasite direction of the bottom two, preventing you from doing this, which would appear to indicate that it was intentional on the part of FROM, who quite possibly could of foreseen the less scrupulous amongst us creating 'Gollywog' builds if they gave us access to the darker shades. It's just a thought mind, and I'm not looking to insinuate anything or insult anyone here.

    As for getting the one eye, I only managed to get the two eyes just touching, and that took me so long that in the end I thought "Sod it! Why am I wasting my time doing this, when I could be kicking the crapola out of the Oolacile Township Residents?", before quiting the whole thing and going back to my Elyan run. lol

    I found something about skin color and I think it's about the same premise as eye editing. Basically it seems that because we're trying to do something not intended by the editor the only way to get results is to actually invert the values on the editor.

    In the case of colors in order to get a deeper blue or dark purple you have to press it closer to orange and yellow and away from blue and purple respectively. It seems backwards but I think it's actually rolling the values negative causing an inverse reaction out of the editor's control so to speak.

    I know it's possible to edit the lips to the point that thinning will cause them to pass 0 and widen across the X axis. I think it's just a matter of discerning which value will offset the eye spacing so that we can force them together completely.

    i got a cyclops to work! yes!!! basically you need the cheek bones at minimal values and you need to adjust the brow as far up as possible to give you more room to work, then you alter eye size and spacing and then forehead settings, and then the "entire" settings... it took around 30 mins and i can't recall all the steps but yeah... also the nose gets in the way so its best to make it go away into the face.

    Many thanks, my attempts resulted in my toon's eyes being devoured by his eyebrows and a needle like protrusion for a mouth. Needless to say it was the envy of Lordran and I was forced to delete it in a fit of mephobia. :mask-sack:
