typical stats

Hi Folks,
sorry i ain,t been around for some time now, due to chemotherapy,
enough on that subject, anyway, I have lost track of what actually is needed for a great stats, if one actually exists. Any advise would be appreciated, I dont play online, as I am not good enough seeing as i am 61
So please keep that in mind, so any help folks, all I want to do is complete the game, not fussy about magic or miracles, just pure battle,

40 seems to be the accepted cut off point for stats, after that diminishing returns kick in hard. faith and intelligence can be effective up to 50, depending on what you are doing with them. raise attunement as much or as little as you like and avoid putting points into resistance (i've heard that resistance has hidden buffs when playing PVE, but i'm not sure if that's true).

i would recommend staring with the minimum stat requirements for the gear you want to use and go from there. weapon upgrades have better results than stat increases anyway.

Vitality cut off should be 45/50 slows down at 45 but really slows down at 50
