I've been using a pyromancer theif and i've upped my attunement lvl to lvl 16, and it says i have 4 attunement slots, but when i go to attune my magic, it only allows for 3 slots. There is no 4th slot. Not even an empty one. I've tried logging in and off my game, and even restarted my ps3, but it still only shows me 3 attunement slots. My character only takes >10k souls now, and it's a pain to have to lvl up my attunement again rather than using dexterity. Any help?

Maybe you're attuning something like Great Chaos Fireball.
That spell is an example of a spell which takes up 2 slots in order for you to be able to attune it.
