Government security is a slippery slope, and (in american anyways) we've already started that slide. Is it really worth being humiliated by a bunch of security guards every day on the off chance you catch that 1 in a million psychopath?

perhaps the schools and work places should have periodic psych exams and get people appropriate help. Non invasive (though expensive), confidential and might actually save a great many lives, it would probably cut the suicide rate too. Best thing it, it addresses the cause, not the symptoms.

I'd prefer to risk getting shot. to the constant humiliation myself.

I agree with you on that Forum. Have any of you guys flown on an airplane since the 9/11 attacks? I don't want that invasion of privacy to creep into daily life. Sorry, but I'll take my chances with the psychos.

And yeah, Vinyl, it's time to drop it already.

I'm not sure if they still do this anymore, because it's been a long while since I was in elementary school, but don't they give tests to elementary school kids that are designed to do that? Not that I'm saying only that is sufficient, as many kinds of mental illness tend to not even appear until a person is into their adolescence or beyond, but something like it could be broadened and extended into high school

I agree to both of those statements.

    Make a thread about it!

That's pretty sad, Forum. I send my positive thoughts to you.

My oldest dog likes to sleep alot, and slips and slides on the kitchen floor because she runs to get on the carpet, then she falls to the ground. It's kinda sad. But some how she manages.

    For presents? Money.

For the spirit? Love, family, friends, and fellowship.

As with any other day, if I smile for more than 30 seconds at once, its a good day. (not that I'm especially unhappy, it just takes a lot to make me smile)

The bold/italic/underlined is the greatest gift that can be recieved for Christmas!

That is what all true warriors strive for!

For presents? Money is the best option, but if it had to be spent on a gift, then Adobe Photoshop is top on my list. Other than that nothing that unique.

Christmas gifts? Well it's money. To spend it for myself it comes down to two things: adobe photoshop and extra funds for collage. For someone else: To get my mother into a high paying job she belongs in, or spend $700 on a bottle of wine that has aged well since 1986. I'm not selfish to those I care for.happy

That's what I'm hoping to get.

Thank you. I agree with him pretty much in the entirety of his point. The media is feeding off fear and just finger pointing at things a majority have been made to believe are bad already. I can't believe some of these media outlets were ranking him/them. That may be the most tasteless thing I've ever heard.

You know I just remembered in Harry Potter there was a scene where their worst nightmares are brought before them in class and they have to face it.

How weird would it be if one kid's worst fear was a patchwork monster of his mother, father, and grandma naked with forty **** hanging from its stomach that ejaculate every second and screams his name.

Or just his dad when he is drunk touching him.

Come on JK Rowling, missed opportunity there!
