Wiki page formatting

Since I started my cov I;ve been having to update the wiki page and I've noticed it has a few problems. Every single time I edit the page what turns up on the page is different to what is saved. Massive spaces are entered between lines, random lines are bolded for no reason and at times I've had entire blocks of carefull arranged text llose their formatting and simply clump up. Just wondering if there is any way to fix this? (Note that the lst example has happened ater editing a piece of text at the bottom of the page, and had something in the middel randomly lose it formatting)

Tolvo, stuff like line spacing and bolding is meant for easy to ready lines and the bold you are supposed to use for titles.

Sadly I dunno how to turn it off, I never had too much problem with that, could you link in the page you mean so I can look at it?

Its all fixed now except for the armour stuff. When i copy pasted over the member roster randoms parts got bolded. And I've had to do the armoury like that and not like the thread because of th errors.

To be fair, the armoury looks fine, I'll have a play with it to see if I can make it like the thread

done, that was simpler than expected.. Do you want the specialised ones done as well? They look a bit wierd..

Edit: Specialisations on armoury are also done and I changed the name of the holy and sage knights, take a look and tell me what you think

Specialised are fine for now, but have you noticed how now the member roster spacing has changed?

looks fine to me, but I'll space out the different ranks a bit.

Or I could put what rank they are before the list of players each time to space it?

No I mean the gaps between each line. They got bigger after you did the armoury. But dont do anything to it yet. I'm going to redo them after the war so its not worth it.

They's all nice and tidy now though and it's easier to see the different ranks so I think it was worth bothering lol

You see though it's not much of a problem if in just a few minutes I can completely sort it out for you (and I'm not even good with stuff like that)

Cheers, I also put the armoury back the the thread style rather than in lines, It looks much nicer, sorry dough

I haven't had too many issues with page formatting, from time to time quirks are encountered but all in all it's pretty solid.

Ok, thanks for the reply. It might have something to do with the formatting of the copy pasted material screwing stuff up.

If you are copying from another wiki page, the best way to do it is to click "edit" on the SOURCE wiki page, copy the content, then edit the destination wiki page and paste.

Something about doing it in this order makes the formatting move better.
