    This is actually a somewhat viable weapon, i need to test a few things still though. First off, it seems to be better as a Chaos/elemental upgrade path. It doesn't have great scaling, and doesn't seem to be effected by the elemental nerf. Second, and i'm not positive but it seems this way, it does more poise damage. Believe it or not i actually managed to stunlock someone with it LOL. I think they had at least 21-31 poise, possibly more.

    i thought i had a B(A?) in dex, i want one since it looks awesome and would fit my server build perfectly. i love the regular whip as an off hand weapon.

    It scales C in dex, it does have a high base damage though. I found it does pretty decent damage as chaos though. It also inflicts poison which i actually found it very useful for.

    I love my chaos weapons so I may check it out. It does look absolutely fantastic.

    Can you not get them from going back and fighting the 2 that spawn?

    ^Yes^ the dual guardians drop it once and they respawn infinitely so you can always obtain at least one each playthrough.

    Wait a sec... the sanctuary guardian respawns?! And there's two of them?! I don't even want to think about fighting two at once.

    It's worse than kalameet IMO, they seem to be a lesser know easter egg of sorts for anyone who wanders back into the sanctuary garden after clearing the dlc. Frankly it's better that way, the elation of discovering the guardian respawned paired with the horrifying realization that a second has appeared as it crushes your corpse.

    On topic does using rotten resin on the tail cause toxic to be inflicted faster? I could see a chaos off-hand with +15 rotten resin main combo inflicting toxic faster than blooming moss can cure. :dung:

    It's poison not toxic, but yea it inflicts a lot faster. Guardian tail actually seems to be one of the best ways to inflict someone with poison, only thing that compares is bow with rotten arrows.
