Aha to speak of love unrequited....

Im sure it has happened to you all but that sad momment when you realise you love some one more than anything and know they will never feel the same.

In my situation tis someone I've known since primary school, someone I took a great liking to but forsook any real meaningful relationship with beacause I knew I couldn't compete with both my best friends and other more worthy people becuase of my own weaknesses and doubts.....

and yet thus I cannot stop being in love with this woman for she is everything I look for in a woman....

Smart, funny, eccentric, beautiful, and beyond all that as willfull as the sea......

And yet beyond all that I know the two of us would never work....

And I maybe somehwat drunk I typing this.....but I need to vent....and since forevers I've known ya you forumites have been an understanding and brilliant community I have been proud to have ever ever been a apart of!

ARGH IM DAMN PISSED AT MY REALISATION OF THIS!

You restrain yourself from a relationship; You can speak to any woman and have a relationship if you stand up right and treat them as a human being.

Faliures that cause the relationship to break, you are suppose to learn from it. If you love someone, you learn how to have that better relationship as best as you can. Learning who and what they are is always good, and staying their for positive help for the girl is always good...

If you love someone, the only thing that stops you is yourself. You can try, drunk comrade. You just have to know that it can be hard to. Can be.

... I would advice to be a better open man when you are not drunk; if you are sober and do it, at least you can physically and mentally function without being tipsy... Also, a change of shorts will do.

You only restrain yourself. She probably does not know you yet... Go to her and be yourself. If it does not work, well you can't force someone to love you. However, it is better to try than to let yourself become depressed about it... Worse thing to do is put yourself in a depressed coma of inaction, folowed by doubt and wishes.

Just try it, Viral... Sober. If it doesn't, at least you know the truth... You just have to show yourself in an interested fashion.

OH I agree with you man I try when I can. I try to be a better person and a better man but I fear such efforts are in vain.

And I would say that going out with her tonight was a painful as possible.....

Otherwise Im not good enough to be with her anyway.....

There's a french Youtuber who is realizing a lot of challenges asked by users like turning a porno movie with a porno star,get boo'd at Paris Game Week,clashing with rappers/TV stars,or sending false awnser to participants in Secret Story,or passing as a pilot and lol while clashing with other pilots.
He also flirted with National Misses (In France,we DO have dream girls) in a yeti costume and even got a date.
He isn't particularly smart or beautiful but it all started the day he declared his love to an unreachable girl with a micro in hand in a classroom of 800 people. The girl then rushed out,embarrassed,and later kissed our future French Youtuber.

He discovered that life is short and that he should try what he wants to do.

Even if it fails,at least YOU won't have regrets if you declare your love.

You're an awesome dude,from what I've read here,so I believe you're worthy of that girl because you're more awesome than that you may think.

I was in that situation, I said how I felt. We've been together for just gone three years now. The best advice I can give is to never live with regret. It's an even more torturous emotion.

Plus at one point in time has been interested in all of my mates but me. Its not like Im bad looking, as presumptuous as that is to say, nor lacking in fun or humour, or seriousness when it matters....

But in the end its really hard to try to get over her every time she comes back to town.....

You're in the same situation you were in before. Based on what you've said about your long-standing friendship with this girl I doubt that even if there was a rebuff of your advances that would mean an end to the friendship.

Anyway, just my $0.02

EDIT: Just noticed that you said that she lives away from you, that can actually make things easier. Do you have her phone #, e-mail, facebook, skype or something? You can work on her without those external "annoyances," you know which ones.
