So, yesterday i Summoned a guy which helped me trough THE ENTIRE DLC. After we've killed Manus, i thanked him etc. etc. etc. And he asked if i needed help killing Kalameet. I've tried to kill him on my Other builds but i never got it.

I asked him if we could try to get the Tail and he said Yes. I tried to get his tail but i Never got close. HE used a Great Scythe and got it with No problems. (It hits the Tail even when it's in the Air)

USE THE GREAT SCYTHE. IT WORKS.

easiest way i have found is to just use a really high stability shield and just blocking that dive bomb attack

Any long reaching weapon will work wonders like the Scythe, Lucerne or the BK halberd. If not, you'll have to bait some of his attacks.

Turkey bow hunters use these to decapitate the birds, I figure it might work for Kalameets tail purty good. We'll petition FROM to add these in the game.
