Hm... Well, I guess I have something: Empty Hm... Well, I guess I have something:

Post by User Thu Nov 15, 2012 6:18 pm

What is the best way to fill a void?

    You fill it with something.

    The Torchman

Dracon are the beings of energy; The died by their greed. One still remains, neither living nor dead. In grey flesh as all were, the skin has wrinkled inside. What remains of the Dracon is nothing but decay, and he hides what remains in his great cloak.

As Dracon were known to dominate all, he resides in the dominion of the depths. With rivers inside, and tunnels of all around him, he travels by foot on the marble floors and bridges. The world is now empty, with the Dracon extinct; What remains is a dead man and his staff, lighting the way.

The creatures that reside here were once minions and creations; now they reside as one of the many naturals. Beasts that were once chained free and roaming, taking the waters as there home: Moist Skinned Creatures with Two legs and many tendrils, walking and swimming in the artificial rivers. Backs glowing with the light that their makers have given, and light the deep dark waters the continuously run.

The dead man walks alone with his torch, wary of these beasts; designed to kill, they swallow anything that it sees whole, and breaks them down from the inside... the Dead Man, with all that remains, walks with his staff, making sure to stay away from other lights below...

He has never seen the surface for centuries or more; time is missing, as is the suns he had. He only knows that he lives in darkness now, forever and more; As he searches for an escape, the rivers and tunnels are endless mazes of miles upon miles... without a ferry and guide, there is no way to escape... his decayed mind has betrayed his memory more so.

He never sleeps, he never eats; all he can do is walk more. How can he stop, when he only remember to walk so? He is reminded again of the darkness around him; he remember the light of his staff and the newts.

So, with all that he remembers, is what he repeats so... his cloak hides what has been lost in time. He must escape, or he will crumble to dust. Perhaps the most blissful thing, is that he can not think as such.

He will wander forever, with the light of his staff... a giant rod that he holds, with a crystal of light at the tip like a spear. It lights the world blue, the depths of darkness and wet. If only the place was lit more so...

The staff is covered in the blue blood of the newts, with the cloak as well; the Newt Beasts of Glutton have attacked him before. he stabs at them with his staff, and drains the life away... the staff charges more, with the death of the beasts by head.

Yet he will always walk for an exit from the wet tunnels... the beasts will always infest them so... eggs and feces from the beasts are seen, with the little bones of fish and beast when they consume for survival...

But he steps on the bones without realization; he ignores the eggs without a thought so. There is barely anything left for the Torchman, except to walk until light of the suns are seen, and to kill any beast that tries to consume the decayed man...

That is the story of the Torchman. Forever wandering the ruins of Dracon, with the waters and tunnels that go mile upon miles... and will continue so, until dust remains.

    Envy Zeus

Cities of Marble and Bars exist; A city of great heights, floating in the sky. A chain or three holding it down, with all three wrapped as one from top to bottom.

This City floats at the highest of all things; the only way to reach, is to climb the chains or fly. The city is filled, like a night sky; lights of all things streaming from the bottom to see. It floats up and down, and moves with the wind. No matter what happens, it will stay chained until broken. The chain being made of something that many would say gold, with the colour and texture. However, not even a boulder can snap the hard stone chains, and conduction is absent.

What the City is, is a tomb of the old. The Dracon are dead, and only creation remains. All things under the city are shrouded in cloud, only lit by the light under the ground above. Now, what remains is a city of a God:

A Former Dracon, who has turned machine. The Tyrant known as the keeper of the City. Armed with the Light that holds the city up, Crystals are seen embed into the hard yellow stone. Gears and Levers exist inside; what remains is a Giant with a knack of lightning; He shoots the light at all intruders, frying into specs of ash. Wandering the city, what it tells is true: Beings that are frozen in position of the ash bodies left entombed.

Other machines that fly, with a core of light, exist. They float aimlessly, and clean the world they live in. The fix all broken structures, and remove all decay. Yet, they leave the ash behind, for all to see at times.

Some that come are explorers, that are creations or undead; they seek for what lies within the floating city. The said tales of treasure, of tools and light, created from the Dracon that once resided far and high.

Some are machines, that are programmed to search, or are corrupted in function, or designed to be sentinel. The wander and climb, some fly up high. Yet they too get fried, as their stone Armour does not defend from the fry of the Keeper.

And there are beasts, creations of Dracon; Some wander as they go, some come with some sense. Yet they all die nonetheless. The same as the two before. None can pass, the Keeper of this World.

He is the God, of the city that remains. They will stay attached, to the world they reside, as their world will remain on the surface below. Sometimes the Keeper is known to cause storms in the sky; Sometimes he is known to throw things to the ground.

Yet many brave enough climb the great chain, in order to obtain what the Keeper holds inside.

    Ka'Reha and the Ethereal Warrior

A dark creature exists within a forest; Thousands of years this thing has existed, and it has grown and grown with power. Existing with the sole purpose of destroying all intrusions, the only thing that resides in this domain

With skin of rough scales, flesh of hard bone, and fangs of great daggers, the Serpent known as Ka'Reha. A creature of great lengths, it is a reptilic creature that can take the worlds hardest beatings, and is the king of the forest, killing all that enter his realm.

Ka'Reha was a gentle creature that once resided in the world with the Dracon. However, as the Dracon were having strife with their own people, they created the counter. As they resided in the ground, this creature was made to kill all that came into the forest, mutated and transformed by the power that the Dracon had from the herb glutton into the Beast it is now.

Roaming the Forest, he moves around with his legs going over the great trees that have grown, older than the serpent himself, high up trunks as thick as a river. The great beast roams on the trunks and under the great roots. All life that exists in his realm run on sight, and go into places the beast can not reach them... any who are unfortunate enough are known to die with ease.

Intruders have come without even knowing of the place that it guards, only that the beast exists. However, the deceased are known to travel across the world to find many things that are hidden, for their own reasons and purposes.

Such deceased, the undead Liches of the Dracon, are known to explore the world. Preserving their Essence or Form, these Undead are the last remaining of the ancestors long gone, however they are neither living nor dead.

Many of these dead are known to travel the world to find permanent immortality, to make it so that they will stay forever undead; Some seek to find life, and to go back into the living; Some search the world for treasures of the past, to claim as their own; All seek for something, as they either wander the world or take shelter in their own laboratories.

All are not the same, however... when it comes to the undeath.

One of these former Dracon, a Warrior within Light, travels the world with the help of his companion. A Mechanical Centipede, Driven to function and be able to wander the world on all two-hundred of its legs, with the yellow stone and many rows of small gears and levers and such allowing it to move. Treasures of their adventure are strapped onto the creature with leather and rope and skin.

The warrior is with the Centipede, or rather attached; Known as an Ethereal Lich, is an undead creature of light, trapped within a crystal on the centipede. With the essence of the warrior within it, the Undead can use the crystal to project itself at a certain range, looking like a Dracon of pure, teal light. Unfortunately, it is trapped within the crystal forever, and is dependent upon the range of the Centipede he holds dear.

A warrior of a blade and energy, he can never die until the crystal dies... the crystal dies when all light is gone, and is both the life of the Dracon as well as the Centipede, being the energy source of its function. Thus... they are forever one in being.

The warrior seeks to find as much energy as possible to survive, so that he will remain immortal with all the treasure he has taken from the fallen... he now seeks to find any ruins that remains, whether they are in the deepest places of the world, in the ruins of his former people, or hidden away in the most shaded of places.

As the day goes, he seeks his gold in the forest...

Ka'Reha, the Great Beast of the forest, hunts down any who intrude in its domain. With the great fangs it has, as well as the hard flesh it holds forever until death, seeks to kill any kind of intruder.

Small the Centipede is however, in comparison to the Great Beast and Trees. As it wanders up the Trunks and under the Roots, it seeks and searches for the treasure that the Twins seek...

Until, finally, the snarls of rage come in an echo.

The Centipede, looks across the thick, wide forest, and sees that something is coming towards it. Clambering its legs up as high as it can, the beast is of faster pace and reaches towards the trunk. How it saw it is unknown; Perhaps the forest sees for him... or Perhaps he can see threw the forest. Either way, Ka'Reha was at its tail, and the Centipede was being gained.

When the Beast was close to have it in its Jaws, the head of the Centipede turned to look at Ka'Reha, it which it blinded it with a great light!

Out, from the shroud, came the Warrior with his blade, jumping on top of the Beast's Jaws and diving inside: It slashed at its gums, it slashed at its tongue. The poor Guardian gauged, as the Warrior fell out. As he put his blade into the Trunk of his tree, the Centipede scurried away, with his attention being obsolete...

The Beast turned with pain in its eyes, with its blood leaking from his great teeth; It looked at the warrior, who was sliding down the great trunk onto the surface. Snarling in rage, Ka'Reha leaped from the Great Tree and went to the ground before. Without warning, the Warrior was bitten by the bloody fangs, and he was no more...

But again, the Centipede yelled at the Great beast from the Roots it now hid under, and again the blinding light gave birth to the Warrior once more. With the Great blade that he held, he charged with all of his strength and slashed at the beasts flesh; The Blade left barely a scratch, and the beast mocked him with his jaws.

As he was defeated yet again... he rose once more.

He aimed for its mouth, its tail, its feet, its toes, its stomach... the beast was hard and strong, and again the beast killed the Ethereal Lich that came back for more. Seconds became Minutes... Minutes became Hours... The Warrior was defeated again and again, and the beast had minor scars across his body, along with the rest that others have laid... Ka'Reha holds them as trophies for all to see, on his hard skin and flesh.

The Warrior tried to go into the mouth of the beast, after the exterior attacks had failed. The Beast was faster than the warrior, and its jaws usually grabbed him before he had a chance. The Warrior was getting defeated again and again, with no avail.

The Beast... was winning. Physically, it was superior than the Ethereal Creature. So, before the Warrior came to attack, the Lich made a scheme to hinder Ka'Reha and his great reign.

The Warrior, looked at the beast, and stared straight at him from behind... the Serpent, surprised to see the man behind him, snarled once more, and charged towards him, locking his eyes on him. Once the beast came, the Warrior lunged his sword at him... but again, the beast grabbed him with his strong foot, and crushed him. As the Ethereal Warrior was defeated once more, the Beast did not notice a strange creature on a wall...

It jumped on its back, with its yellow legs digging into the cracks of his scales. It dug as deep as it could, as the beast went in shock and began to move in panic. The Centipede did not move, and Ka'Reha could not reach... The Warrior came bursting out from its head, and charged at the other.

It went to one eye, and stabbed it with his sword. The beast went wild and made the warrior fly! He stabbed at a tree, and jumped off it to its head. With the beast half gone, it could not see the blade reach for the other, and silencing his sight.

As Ka'Reha began to live forever in a world of no sight, the Centipede jumped of the creature, who was in a berserk at its lost. As the Twins left the poor beast in its current state, they searched the forest to find what was hidden...

And forever on, Ka'Reha will always be blind, being a Guardian with no sight, and with flesh of great protection... its agility became nothing, as his prey was unseen. So, forever on, it lived until it starved.
