Summoner Build

Inspired by the summoner class of Final Fantasy. The build uses most of the long casting and powerful spells of DkS. I think from is teasing us with Pursuers as a new summons school of magic. The principle is pretty basic: high Att slot cost, low # of castings, long casting time and a image of a thing (dragon, demon, etc.). The summoner is more of a defensive type of mage, thus Great Heal.

i like it, i miss the good old final fantasy, been so disappointed with the last games theyve put out.

The new one that's coming out next year (FFXIV) is going to have the old jobs/classes. Dragoon, Black Mage, Summoner!!!! It's going to be epic.

Haha, wonderful idea. I was half-expecting a Trident+Undead Rapport kind of build, but this is awesome too.

Maybe put five more points into Intelligence so you can cast White Dragon Breath? Seems like it would fit the theme of this build pretty well.

WDB looks more like black magic but could represent Seath as a summon so yeah. Undead Rapport suits more for a necromancer type class.

i gave up on 14 ever coming out. they better make it like ff9 or im gonna be pissed.

I really liked IV, VI, IX, and X. X was the one that had the ability to have lots of similar + overpowered characters that I still really liked.

X-2 should have been titled "pretty princess dress-up". XIII should have been titled "Final Fantasy: Plot Logic?" Not that these games ever had/needed much plot logic, but even the motivations of characters in XIII were really questionable. Lots of forced/insensible hatred among protagonists, no true sense of direction for most of the game, and a borderline nonsense final portion lol.

Agreed 7,8,9 and earlier was the best but 10 was good also didn't care for 10-2 and onward and I hope 14 is better OT:
