    Hi all,

So just played for the first time and got to SL 56 before realising my character was a bit too messy and unfocussed. Now that I know more about the game I'm going to restart and play through NG, then start PvPing with that character.

    My build idea is here.

The idea was to have a Fire Uchigatana (or Lightning, but doesn't matter right now) and a Grass Crest Shield and be able to quick roll in order to have a fast striking/dodging build and then see what weight I have leftover and use the best Armor set for that (which tuns out to be Black Knight).

I found that I was using the Drake Sword so much that when I came to get something better (Black Knight Greatsword/Claymore etc) I hated how slow it was.. Same with armor. So the Uchi seems like a high power, fast striking Sword that is light enough for me to stay <25% and still use some good armor (Elite Knight set in the early to mid game).

    Thoughts?

Lightning/Fire/Chaos Falchion perhaps? That weapon two-handed can stunlock like a pro (assuming that you're able to break your opponent's poise to begin with).

i suggest going up to SL 100 or 120 or 80, also ditch the katanas unless you want to invest in scaling, a falchion could be useful or the fury sword. this is the build id use (choose either weapon ditch the other for the asscended flame) this has high health, nice poise AND the use of a kickass weapon while still having some of the best magic.
