Dem Phantoms!

Question about Phantoms! When you see outlines of other Players (Blue'ish ghosts), are they People near YOUR lvl? Like. Can they Summon/Invade/Get invade you? Or are they just Random players.

The same question is for the Bonefire. You can see people in ALL their gear when they're close to a Bonefire While you're there.

Pretty sure it's just any person there, not just within summoning range. I could be completely wrong though.

First time I ever saw one of those ghostly phantom images around the fire, I thought I had been invaded (was new to the game), and started swinging away at it. Then felt like a tool when it didn't react, and just vanished.

Im curious since i See alot of Ghosts around me but they Never summon me...WHAT'S WRONG ABOUT ME? (Expect that Part where i Backstab you and takes your Trinkets...Luv em Trinkets)

I've always assumed them to be players in the same level range as me.

Same here...

I believe its any level as fresh of the boat from the Asylum I always see people decked out in high level and rare armors with all manor of weapons at Firelink.

I'm pretty sure it's any level. I'll invade the world of a very high level host and then see them standing next to the bonfire a couple minutes later.

I think they are people all levels. Sometimes I see them then they summon me, other times have seen invaders too. ( especially true around the Oocalile Township bonfire.
