    My first gravelord build

Post by hageshisa on Fri Nov 09, 2012 4:18 pm

Sup pvp section! I was browsing the forum yesterday, and it hit me that Gravelording is good pvp training. And to be truely honest I've never give it a fair shot!

So since I'm on my iphone I couln't copy the tiny url from mugen, so ill post stats here:

    Warrior
    Vit - 22
    Att - 10
    End - 43
    Str - 24
    Dex - 13
    Res /
    Int /
    Fth - 10

    Main hand: Partizan and talisman
    Offhand: Gravelord sword and buckler

    Spell: Gravelord Greatsword Dance

Armor: Crown of dusk, Leather armor, knights gaunties, hollow soldier waist cloth.
    Rings: RoFaP n Wolfie

I heard Gravelord Sword swings faster in offhand, but if its better to use it in main I'm open for change. Also worth to mention is that I want it at low sl, but could concider raising sl to 70-80 depending on acton rate and if I need more hp.

All kinds of suggestion are welcome! : ) Just wanna use trademark gravelord gear. So feel free to add another armor combo if it makes my build more optimal (already have a toon that uses this armor combo)

    Thank you in advanced!

    Sincerly, Blue

I dunno if it's worth putting the gravelord sword in your left hand when you have a partizan. The Partizan strong attack serves the same purpose as the GLS left hand attack, it doesn't really need a support weapon with its moveset.

So I'm better off with a Scimitar or Falchion? : o

i would go with the bandit knife with rotten resin applied to it, i've had allot of success with that weapon as a gravelord. once the toxin from the gravelord sword takes affect, if they aren't already dead, i switch to the bandit knife and poison. toxin, bleed and poison often sends the invader into a panic. it's great fun.

i would also switch out the gravelord sword dance, it looks awesome but it's very slow to cast and the damage isn't that impressive. pyromancy would be a better choice i would think.

Maybe something like this? I replaced the crown with something darker looking as with only one spell slot it's not worth the hit to magic defense.

I'd say keep the GL greatsword for the heavy stab which inflicts toxic, not many people will expect a heavy attack from the left and as Nybbles said paired with rotting resin can pressure opponents and land toxic now and then. I'll have to disagree bout ditching the Greatsword dance, it is slow however it can send even heavy enemies flying and is incredible against multiple players due to the wide arc especially when your backed into a corner.
