The Walking Dead season 3 Episode 4 continues next week with episode 4, "Killer Within," and the survivors are going to be dealing with quite a bit of trouble at the prison. Just what is going on?

Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 4 "Killer Within" Sneak Peek

"The group is severed and lives are put in jeopardy. In Woodbury, Merle has a request for the Governor."

Will they lose someone else to the walkers in this episode?

The Walking Dead season 3 episode 4 clip from "Killer Within" (below) shows Rick, Glenn, and Daryl out in the yard when a security alarm sounds over the intercom. Of course, it attracts walkers in the woods, and they're lining up at the fence. Even though they begin to take care of the noise, it's too late. The walkers are there, and they want in.

Last Sunday's episode of "The Walking Dead" stepped away from Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors as the focus shifted to Andrea (Laurie Holden) and her new companion, Michonne (Danai Gurira) as they were brought to the town of Woodbury.

While Michonne was unimpressed and deeply suspicious of Woodbury and the Governor (David Morrissey), Andrea was clearly impressed by the sanctuary he had created. Unfortunately, neither Andrea or Michonne has any idea of just how dangerous that the Governor and his people really are.

This week's episode of "The Walking Dead" will resume the focus on Rick's group as they clear the walkers out of the prison. AMC's preview clip from Sunday's episode also captures a humorous moment as Rick, T-Dog (IronE Singleton), Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) catch Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) spending just a little bit too much time in the guard tower.

Last night saw the debut of some new faces to The Walking Dead with the regular cast members not making an appearance. Luckily they will be back next week and AMC has released a clip from the upcoming episode in which things get a little awkward.

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, IronE Singleton, Melissa McBride, David Morrissey and Danai Gurira. The series is executive produced by Glen Mazzara, Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert with Greg Nicotero as co-executive producer.

The Walking Dead season 3 continues next week with episode 4, "Killer Within," which will see what's coming next for both groups-those in the prison and those in Woodbury-as they continue to fight to survive and figure out what's best for their continued survival.

"The group is severed and lives are put in jeopardy. In Woodbury, Merle has a request for the Governor."

'The Walking Dead' season 3 episode 4 Photo Credit: Gene Page/AMCAfter "Walk With Me" focused on Andrea and Michonne's introduction to Woodbury and the Governor, this next episode is going to show both groups and what's next-and there's reason to think that both the prison and Woodbury are not safe. Michonne was being very wary in episode 3 about the community, and episode 2 saw the group find a few inmates still alive in the prison. Both those topics will be raised next week.

The Walking Dead season 3 episode 4 promo for "Killer Within" (below) shows the happenings in Woodbury and in the prison. In Woodbury, Michonne's doing some snooping, and it looks like the Governor may have caught her based on where she is when he tells her, "We could use a soldier like you." However, Michonne would rather take her chances outside of Woodbury than inside its walls. You can't blame her, but if she chose to leave, would Andrea go with her? Also going on in Woodbury is Merle ready to go searching for his brother, and he has found out where the farmhouse was. But they're long gone from that area, and instead, it's hard not to wonder just who was spying on Carol from the woods as she tried to prepare herself for a possible C-section when Lori goes into labor.

Meanwhile in the prison, the survivors are dealing with a lot of trouble. First of all, there's the fact that someone axes open the gate, so they have to do some more walker killing-and everyone's in on that, including Lori. Then there's the fact that Axel and Oscar aren't sticking to their deal of staying inside their assigned cellblock. Who's messing with them? Who axed open the gate? Will Rick kill these other two prisoners before the episode's over? But is the most disturbing part of the promo what's lying on the ground towards the end of it?
