I replied directly to Fex.

It actually made me a little angry. While I'm sure it's not the first time something like this has happened, kinda felt like something sacred had been transgressed.

That is an interesting point. The nature of the registration process keeps spam down and we are really vigilant about keeping solicitation away. When we were creating the sites Fex and I were very adamant about not exposing the community to those elements so we take that infiltration seriously. Community sites should be a haven from that type of bombardment.

Well I'm not seeing it as a failure on your part. It happens everywhere. It's just the first time I've seen it here.

If anything you guys always seem to be on top of it, and we appreciate your efforts. It's actually pretty amazing that stuff like this doesn't happen more. I know I get it on my facebook and email constantly.
