Really? dang... What weapon should I use instead then? I have already used the baller swag sword and it is pretty nice but i would like to use some stuff from this dlc.

hmm should I take the Str out of the equation? i do not need it to wield the Gold stabnflabber. Then i could invest in another stat?

A good dex/faith wep is the Ricard's rapier. It's not from the dlc but its great when buffed. Also, you cant go wrong with a katana. I don't think there are any buffable dex weps in the dlc.
Edit: If I wanted to make a build to get the most out of the new items I'd make a str/int dark magic build. Use manus cata with the new spells. Idk how effective that would be but hey, it can be mostly dlc stuff and that dark bead is pretty dangerous in pvp.

hmm okay, any suggestions for that? it sounds like a polar opposite to my build. lol but it is good to try new things.

Threw that together real quick. You could swap the man serpent for the obsidian greatsword if you want a dlc wep. It can be buffed with cmw. Man serpennt has good str scaling though, but it's up to you. Play around with it, swap spells/armor out etc, see what you like. The 22 poise may take some getting used to but with practice it's doable.
