I guess Smog would be closest to how i pronounce it. I pretty much pronounce it the way i pronounce ''mouth'' S(mouth)g.

I pronounce it Smooog like in "move" 
But I suspect you pronounce it like Gough (which, by the way, I though was Gooog like "move" again, but he himself said like he said it...)

My pronunciation of anything I don't know for sure changes randomly, but most commonly I say it as S-mou(as in MOUse)-g, so pretty much a literal pronunciation. As for Gough, I tend to say it like gouge just because I think it sounds cool
