Guys, this is unquestionably breaking the forum guidelines. Please for future references let's not bring politics into discussion. There are certain things that just really don't go over well with online forums. Politics tends to be one of those things.

Sublime, I don't think your thread was exactly a bad thing. But you should have realized a political discussion could have popped up. It's sort of like if you made a build making fun of the Islamic prophet, people might get offended.

Please, let's just try and be peaceful and stay away from heated topics on the forum guys.

Let's please get this discussion back on the points of the build. You guys are free to discuss the merits of candidates in off-topic provided it is kept civil.

We actually had a long discussion about religion, that didn't end in hatemail/trolling/rants/etc.

But from the way this started, i don't think it will take that long before it turns to just that.

You just have to be adults about it. Joe and I had a long conversation about both religion and politics one night, both of us vehemently disagreeing with each other, and nobody was angry at all. You know what things you say are designed to make other people angry, being an adult is making the choice to not say them. Also in my opinion whats really wrong with American politics right now. We don't talk with each other at all anymore, we yell at each other and call each other names. It's ridiculous. Nothing will ever get better that way. Just create more and more misunderstanding and resentment.

I heard Plastic&Rage voted against workers benefits. Do we really want a person in this forum who doesn't care about middle class workers? FruitPunchNinja voted for increased pay,vacation time,snowboarding trips, and more made up holidays. FruitPunchNinja cares.

Just for the record I'm campaigning for Obama. Already donated some $ to his campaign, and I've been making phone calls for him in my free time for the last couple of weeks. There's just a respectful way to do things and a disrespectful way to do them. Unfortunately the people who set the tones for these things do the same damn things. It's not about whats best anymore, it's about who thinks they're side is better.
