OH MY NETWORK...

Hey guys, how many of you have issues with online game and Network, general issues, with all the games?!

It's hard to play DeS and DkS,both PC and PSN, but PSN is worst. And talking about the PSN, when I play BlazBlue, KoFXIII, SFIV, whatever, always I have a lot of issues >_<

Do you guys have any tips? Any hot-to's...

Btw, anyone for a BlazBlue:CT/CS? =D

What is your Internet provider?

I'm from Brazil, my provider is "NET Virtua". Most of you guys may not know it. I'm not sure of an international branch which represents (or is represented by) this company... =/

I have ~2 MB DSL, pretty slow for multiplayer, but it doesn't give me as much problems. Is your PS3/PC connected by an ethernet cable? If not, is it really far from the router? Ypu can check your signal % in your PS3 in the network settings. Mine is wireless but it's very close (bedroom next to mine). It gets 100% signal always. If you're getting 100% signal and it still gives you problems you might want to upgrade your internet speed.

I have about 20Mb/2Mb, ethernet direct attached to the router and the PC/PS3 have either portforward config'd or its IP in DMZ...

20MB and you have lag problems and the like? I would switch to another company then. The one I'm paying for likes to shut down the internet once in a while, but I rarely have problems with lag (my FC forum friends never say I'm lagging bad and such).

Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's totally crap!

Today I found no one at PC. I looked for my open connections with a portscan and the DATA.exe had no connections at all!!!

So, today I'm coming back to the PSN so I can test things... Is the PSN doing fine? I remember back in time, on DeS release, that we had many issues with PSN quality... Even now, only after the 1.06 patch we could see the resonance of miracles...

My best time playing DkS was at PSN, though.
