Saw my first vagrant last night...

The first thing it did was walk off a cliff

I was really quite annoyed about that. It was next to the dark mage at the end of the long bridge in Oolacile Township if anyone's interested. It was also one of the "good" variety.

EDIT: Actually it was one of the evil variety, my bad. But both types can spawn at any given location AFAIK.

They generally have set places they show up, so thanks for letting us know bout this one!

I've seen about 12 vagrants in my time with the game.

5 Of those have been in the last 2 weeks, so the rate at which they show up has definitely been improved with the latest patch.

I saw 3 in the Chasm of the Abyss, it's located at the annoying witch enemy on the cliff from where you can go down to Manus. How convenient it's exactly there lol.

Alara , what ISP do you have?

I've seen 2 vigrants at the same time. Good and Evil. It was on my first file, in the Undead Burg.

And that's all I've ever seen, even though I've racked up about 800 hours total from all my files (including the ones I deleted).

But I doubt it has anything to do with that, I just play way too much Dark Souls so the chance of me seeing one is greater than that of the average player.

Ah, me too (Ziggo). I saw a bunch, but not 12! That's awesome. Before the 3 in the Chasm, I only saw 1 or 2 in 1000 hours. I also think it's pure luck (right place right moment). It has nothing (or little) to do with connection indeed. I think you are right.

I've never seen a vagrant in 500+ hrs.

I make vagrants ^_^. I always cry when I have to drop a dung pie Q_Q But I always tell them you are going to do great things! And look at where they are now, in your worlds !

I've only seen one since I got the game at release...
