    After Manus

Post by Dark Spirit EliteBiker20 on Sun Oct 28, 2012 11:51 am

I had a few questions about the moment after you defeat Manus.

First of all, the lady that appears after the fight, that is Dusk right?

If it is Dusk, why is she just lying there?

Is there any way to talk to her or make her reappear somewhere else?

Also, if you were to enter the area where the boss door to Manus was, would you be able to get to his arena, or would the fall kill you?

The last question isnt really important, just a curiosity, but the other ones would be nice to get some answers for. Especially if she has some for important role in the storyline of the DLC.

Yes, that's Dusk. And she's most likely just unconscious. She returns to the Darkroot Basin after the DLC.

I'll return with an answer about the Manus Arena shortly.

Though you should be able to go there since you can warp to the bonfire in there.

I know you can warp there, I just mainly wondered if you could get there through his boss door, incase im down that way again. I also wondered if there was anywhere else you could talk to dusk while in the DLC.

Why are you able to warp to his bonfire anyway? I find no real point in warping there if there is nothing left to do there. That goes the same with Nito's boss room. You can warp there as well, but there is nothing to do there either. They should have made warping points to more useful spots, like Undead Burg.

    That's a good question.

And Dusk has some new dialogue once the DLC is done.

And yes, you can run down as if the boss was there with no harm whatsoever. I don't know if it could work as an arena in pvp though. I'm trying to get invaded right now so i can test it, but so far nothing.

And perhaps the warps are just so you can afk in a safespot?

People never seem to think about that. :|

I see your point about afk-ing. It would make a very nice PvP arena, especially since the scenery is amazing down there.

I also found out that the new update has brought with it more warping points, one of them being to the boss room in the Crystal Caves. That one is kind of pointless as well, unless you feel like boosting items off of the giant clams.

Just realized, you can't summon people once the boss of the area is dead, so no, it doesn't work. Look Skyward

I was going to say something about that, but I thought you would realize it before too long. Lol. Everyone makes mistakes. Atleast we have some cool ideas for otherwise useless areas.
