Anyone else experience a new rise of backstabs agian?

I was a bit annoyed that lag stabs have came back. Even in the arena I get lag stabbed and its extremely annoying. I understand its part of the game and all that. I have no problems with sorceries. Just backstabs are my ultimate "pet pe eve."

So question for you guys, has lag stabs increaed for you guys?

Actually No. After the DWGR got Patched, the amount of LAGSTABS GOT TO LOW. Lol, But no. Less BACKSTABS after the Patch.

XBL Dark Souls has incrased by 100% Almost every chance I get summoned VIA RSS or I invade or enter an arena I get lagstabbed. Maybe because I played with people of out hte US since I get hom late, idk.. Its just really annoying. They even go for a chainbackstab after a lag stab.

But I haven't seen any more lagstabs than usual although everyone is running around with the new dagger and Hornet ring.

overall no, obviously there still people that lag(ps3) but not increased. Like others have said, without so many people using DWGR it actually seems like less. Cause DWGR roll bs made lag seem ten times worse, DWGR in general just made lag more of a problem.

On PS3, I've been invaded five times in the DLC areas now, and all five did nothing but spam WoG and then try to backstab if I was staggered. 4 were still using DWGR. It was a little depressing I'll admit, maybe the legit folks are all in the arena now or something.

I had some really fun arena fights, all the tryhards now just rock a set up like wolf/DWGR+garg helm&havels gauntlets. 2vs2 is especially fun i thought.

OK. JUST GOT THE THE FOREST. BACKSTABS. BACKSTABS EVERYWHERE.

Surprisingly, I've come across no PC hackers, and almost all invaders have bowed. And, sadly... I was the first to backstab! D: But, come on! I'm built for PvE!

I haven't really seen many lagstabs, but I definitely see more lag for some reason. I also try to keep moving, so I don't get into position to get backstabbed.

Yesterday I fought a guy in the arena, the guy was just unbelievable, Power within, sunlight blade, The Guy frigging backstabbed every five seconds and then the twop'd me. and destroyed me.

After the match ended he threw the carving "very good" and i chain backstabbed him until the session wore off.

I messaged him to fight like a man and he seemed like very offended when I called him a cheater.

I can understand power within + sunlight blade but backstab fishing and twop? the guy sucks!

Unlock, pivot, stunlock, done. It's really that simple. TWoP users forget about the fundamental part of DkS pvp: the 2h pressure of a weapon. So, might as well unlock, then just attack them until they're dead while you 2h your weapon.

I haven't noticed more lagstabs, but I have seen more fishers. Even those who still use the DWGR only roll-BS(this is only what I've seen, props to anyone who uses it for dodging purposes). The sad part is when I face someone in the top 5 for winstreaks in the arena and they only pivot-BS. Sure, it's a strategy, but if you're not even going to stab me from the front you fail to get my respect.

I've noticed quite a rise with backstabs but, they may be because am going up against players from different parts of the world, so it's kind of normal to me.

They should just make the backstab hit box smaller or not have it when up against a player.

Just feels unnecessary, and idm if i get downrepped for this but this is actually how I feel about backstabs.
