How many casts do they get per scroll thingy? I always hide behind I object but when I'm out in the open it can be a pain in the ***.

The only time I have a problem with it is when someone pairs it with Dark Bead.

Pursuers is not nearly as OP as some people make it out to be...

It could potentially one shot someone- but it doesn't last nearly as long as I expected... it's not hard to dodge...

I try to be tasteful about when I use it though- can understand why that spell pisses people off... i try to use it only when necessary...

I really wanna try this spell against a boss...

It is only OP on a laggy connection.

If I see pursuers I run.....cast GMB then charge him screaming, "I DON'T CARE!"

You'd be surprised to see how many casters are unprepared by this and go all glass cannon.

According to ENB it's cancelled if the caster's been hit, but I've yet to try it.

i have had my first encounter with both bead and pursuers today in the arena, woah, they are fair brutal...! i was copping allot of damage from them...the people i were facing were hard to get at, allot of defensive playing behind huge shields and then casts of brutality....

Dark Bead is the better spell in my opinion. You can just keep running from pursuers, and yea when they are paired up it is deadly. Using fog ring or hidden body makes it so pursuers(and HSM) don't cast. It is not as OP as everyone is making it out to be. Dark Bead is really fast, and if the mage is hard hitting enough even getting just one orb hitting you does decent damage.

pursuers isn't hard to run from and dodge around corners but when you are in the town ship it is relatively small. and if they cast it and them keep up continued pressure 7+ casts in a row of it, eventually i got cornered trying to dodge/make them hit walls.

Yeah, it totally depends on the environment. The Arena is open and spacious - plenty of room to roll away and - most importantly - get distance from the caster. In the Oolacile township area, however, it is much more confined and like the guy above said, you end up rolling into a corner or into the caster's bs...

yea even in the arena and how open and easy to avoid it it is, but if some one has 9 casts of it, you basically have to dodge it 9x before the fight even starts, its more annoying then anything.

I think being ready to swap to ring of fog when you come across people who use lots of pursuers or HMCS is a good idea.

I've only run into it a few times. Instead of rolling away I rolled into it. Everything was hunky dorey. Luck maybe?

best way to avoid pursuers! one jump into them and they are gone.
immediatelly do a second roll for the dark bead spell. now you should find yourself infront of your opponnent. just be aware of dark bead when you are close. he can't cast pursuers anymore cause it takes him too long to do it. if you hit your oppenent while he is casting pursuers he gets interrupted.

fogring is also very good against them as already mentioned by FruitPunchNinja.
another very good tactic against the new dark magic is simple: just equip the DWGR and you should have no troubles.
