    I was looking for a BSS for ages and have been farming Balder Knights ever since my first encounter with them.

    I got fed up, sat down and farmed them non stop. After over an hour, I finally got one.

    Since then, I have killed maybe 10 Balder knights and have found 3 more BSS.

    Seriously..... T_T

    Try farming slab at New Londo...

    I mean, pre-patch was terrible, but I think they increased the drop rate now.

    Or worse, dragon scales at the blue drakes!

    From experience, it seems that they increased their drop too (the scales).

    The most slabs I've ever farmed in one playthrough, is about 12 Normal titanite slabs, 4 White titanite slabs, and 1 Red titanite slab.

    I personally think it's based on what the set luck the game starts you out with, plus 1 to 10 humanity.
