Power Within and the new patch

I have a question. So I was under the assumption that prior to patch 1.06, bellowing dragoncrest ring and crown of dusk buffed power within. Maybe I'm wrong about this. Can someone confirm this for me? Well after the patch I tried testing both and saw no difference in the amount of damage I was dealing while using these items and power within. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know if lingering dragoncrest ring still works on power within? Thanks guys.

The only thing the patch changed was the health drain, it is now the same as an un-upgraded flame was regardless of upgrade level. The lingering dragoncrest ring will extend pw's duration, but the bellowing ring and dusk crown have never affected its power.

Thank you for the response, ublug. I really appreciate. I never experimented much with PW before the patch but I had read somewhere online that dusk crown and bellowing dragoncrest ring buffed PW. I appreciate your help!

So since the health drain is the same on the un-upgraded flame and the upgraded flame now, is the damage from PW still the same with either flame?
