Re: The Depths
Remember if you ever need help specifically in an area there is the Co-Op section where you can post asking for aid, and people will respond and exchange PSN info, Times Zones, and talk about when and where help is needed.

that's just low... everyone hates that, except those that happened to be built for it

Re: The Depths
The Depths was the most frustrating for me in terms of finding my way around. I dropped through holes a couple of times which can be disorienting if you haven't cleared the entire map yet. One or two drops and the place seems a lot bigger than what it actually is.

also you can just run past if you end up really hating that guy... but I'd have to agree with the above post about the depths seeming a lot worse than they are the first time you run through, the map is really fairly simple once you learn it

Just try not to get cursed by the frogs. Unfortunately, unless you have the cursebite ring from a suicide run in New Londo ruins, you will be helpless against the basilisks.

Re: The Depths
If you ever start to farm humanity in the depths you'll be able to navigate it blind...or in my case whilst changing a child's diaper (where's that PSN trophy at!?).
Stick with it...so much more to see!

... no? Just stay mobile and kill em quick, they have never killed me on any of my runtrhoughs, I understand some people use tactics that cause trouble with them, but I'd never say that someone is helpless against them...Wade_Wilson wrote:Just try not to get cursed by the frogs. Re: The Depths
The simplest tactic to fighting the frogs, kill them before they see you. Once you see them, just hit them as hard as you can before they can spray that awful mist. Heavy Hitting weapons with good reach are perfect against them.

Im relating it to the fact thats he's on his first playthrough, and therefore unlikely to know what curse is, or that basilisks inflict it.

Re: The Depths
Once you get to about SL 45, I can help you with Sen's, Anor, Archives, Catacombs, ToG, New Londo Ruins, and Demon's Ruins. I have a SL 60 toon that is really powerful and designed for Anor and New Londo. No so much for the catacombs, ToG, or the Archives, but it will work.

Re: The Depths
The depths is a great area for farming humanity, titanite shards (green you will need for your divine weapon) and souls. The boss run is short and the dragon is easy to beat once you've done it a few times. The biggest problem I've found as of late is invasion. It seems a hot spot for "the glitch that shall not be named" users.
