Re: Morrowind Thread
Morrowind is fantastic. I can't enjoy it as much as I used to anymore, but I have a lot of good memories from it still. The lore remains very interesting as well, and a map of Vvardenfell still graces my bedroom wall after all these years.
Last time I played was about a year ago, I think. Norusi Raledran of the Great House Redoran got pretty powerful before I got bored of the game again. (It's extremely easy even with a lot of balance and difficulty mods, and when you've done literally everything in the game at least once, and many things up to five times or more, it gets kind of stale.)
Still have it installed though.

Re: Morrowind Thread
Aye, I remember being confused and amazed by it back when I first played it as well. First time I played it, it was as an Orc warrior of some sort at a friend's house. If memory serves, I ended up just going around using Berserk to kill NPCs fast for no apparent reason. Didn't really get serious until I got the game myself later on.

Re: Morrowind Thread
Outside of the starting area, you can find some scrolls.
They are Scrolls of Icarian Flight, you should definitely use them.

Re: Morrowind Thread
I haven't played the game in the past couple of months. But I do make mods for the game on my PC (along with Oblivion) around once or twice a week.
I've made some things, some awesome messed up things... and I'm proud of them.

Aah, Morrowind; what I consider to be one of my favorite games ever, I basically grew up with this thing, and I couldn't list all the things I love about the game if you gave me a decade, but I'll tell you one thing it did right, in which all Elder Scrolls-games thereafter screwed up: The Beast Races.
The Argonians and Khajiit were really worthy of their categorization as "beasts" back then, I tell ya; no shoes, no full helms, making strange noises that creeped me the hell out, and walking around in a way that suggests they filled their pants; it's all glorious!

Re: Morrowind Thread
Easily the best Elder Scrolls. The balance of story , setting, gameplay and freedom have never been matched before or since in the series. And yes the magic is 100% better.

morrowind but with better animations graphics n a tweaked combat would be amazing. btw the game is only 1.25ish Gbs with DLC while oblivion was 1.5 with no dlcs so huge space to expand now
