I'm sure it is, a lot of people didn't realize how strong it could be. I think it just got a very slight nerf, like elemental weapons. Which seems to be barely noticeable, but 4 more days and we can find out

It's the longest of all the curved swords. Just that makes it viable even if the damage is nerfed a bit.

People always tend to underestimate curved swords stagger ability, and like Spur said its range make it viable despite its damage(which is still decent).

i haven't seen any changes to it in any of the pc version stuff, and the new curved sword only has the range of the falchion just with bleed.... also anyone else notice that the quelaag swords r2 attacks are the same as the murakumo's r1's? at least they look really similar...
