Need book recommendations

Can't sleep.
Solution is reading and I ran out of my own books.
Want your suggestions.
Fantasy and steampunk type books preferred but others will be fine.

anything buy Chuck Palahniuk specially Rant and Pygmy.

I'm reading '11.22.63.' by Stephen King at the mo'. In fact I've read nearly everything he's written except 'The Dark Tower' series, mainly because I missed it when it first came out and I'm not sure which one is the first and I hate to start a series in the middle. Could one of you kind gentlemen give me the title please?

I believe the name of the first one is The Gunslinger.

Slake, I started with the third book actually and thought I'd be lost but each book actually holds up well alone. However for purity's sake The Gunslinger is indeed the first. After that they should all be titled with their corresponding number except for the new one The Wind Through the Keyhole. Of all of them that can be out of sequence that one is the easiest. It technically occurs between four and five but it's actually the main character telling other characters two stories (one within the other) and is amazing. If you've read most of King's other work you've maybe stumbled on The Little Sisters of Eluria in Everything's Eventual. That's a short story involving Roland, the main character in the Dark Tower series.

Finally, maybe you've read one or two of these books. They're all tied to the Dark Tower series as well. Basically, if you've read anything by King.....you've already started the Dark Tower series

I recommend The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. It's my favorite book series, and it's urban fantasy. A really, really good twist on fantasy.

If you're into steampunk then i recommend the Mortal Engines (that's the name of the first book) series by Philip Reeve. It has 6 books (only 4 of them are in swedish ).
