    Is anyone concerned that in the arena, this buff might be overpowered? It's strength was, to my understanding, mostly permitted and considered balanced as you only get one. However in the arena, this is an effectively false statement, which seems to make the buff drastically overpowered.

    Does anyone agree? Disagreements are welcome too.

    Wow hold on, they do not regenerate after each win. That is not true. They regenerate after each LOSS.

    You cant just repeatedly kill someone by buffing all the time. You buff, you kill them, then they respawn and your buff is still active but when it runs out thats it. You cant rebuff until you die.

    Yes, but consider this, a match is 3 minutes long, and the buff lasts 1 minute. DMB is an additional 450 magic AR, which is almost an entire Moonlight Greatsword. While avoiding an opponent that has DMB is viable in normal PvP, facing an entire minute of this far superior buff will be essentially requiring all competitive builds to be faith builds, either to have DMB, or to cancel it with GMB.

    Avoid for one minute. Kill. Avoid for remaining time. You win.

    This is one of the many things that came to my mind. Trust me theres always more than one option happy

    I suppose.I have come up with my own options for the arena, i am just somewhat concerned that the arena might fine-tune players to 3-4 total builds at this rate.

    Oh, dont worry. Its just the saem as world pvp. There the same spamming and stuff from a portion of people but theres still plenty of variety big grin

    Hell we can fight in there with our high level forest hosts. Could be interesting big grin

    My forest host isn't competitive. It wear no armor and doesn't specialize in direct combat.

    Avoid for first minute, 2 mins left engage them. fight might take around another minute you win, he re buffs, turtle for remaining time. buffers are gonna be boring to fight.

    @Rynn: What about SLB? GMB won't even counter that.

    Well, sounds like Persurers is going to be popular, VIT/END gouges w. Elemental weapons, and faith builds. So heavy FTH, heavy INT, heavy VIT/END. I would imagine faith with GMB would be nearly the strongest.
