Help with Xbox Controller Please

Can't get the controller to work.
I plug it in, Windows detects and installs the driver but it wont work in the game. It shows in Device Manager as "XBOX 360 Wireless Controller via Play & Charge Kit".

Any help would be appreciated.

Running Windows 7 64 bit.

You can't use an Xbox Controller on the PC using a Play & Charge Kit, you need either a wired controller or a wireless adapter.
