My first legit pvp build
As some of you know (from when i was home and i played in fc and for thos who know of my youtube vids) i only play with cosplays. very rarely will i have something random for pvp. So i decided to mess around on the stats planner and put together something that i think will be fun to use in pvp. NOTE: this is not ment to win every match i have it set up so im setting myself apart from the mold and to try somthing different. By useing weapons and a shield i think is viable but never see it used. Please comment and tell me what you think.

Re: My first legit pvp build
I believe it is a very viable build - however I would personally make a few adjustments Perhaps the addition of a leo ring would be useful. The BKS is more of just a stylized shield for the build though it has the auxiliary effect of making pyromancies ineffective. Imo the aesthetics of the build just are nice and I find that you don't need more than 1500 hp

But the crystal shield has 100/60/80/80 which is extreamly good for a shield? the drawback is the shield cant be repaired... so buy 4 lolTehInfamousAmos wrote:I believe it is a very viable build - however I would personally make a few adjustments Perhaps the addition of a leo ring would be useful. And i looked at what you suggested and i prefer my armour load out where i have more defence and poise propertys while still maintaining a mid roll. And i could just swap my spell stone ring for wolfs and have 101 poise but i wanna try to make a use of the stoneplate rings i never see them used either.

I would say the crystal shield isn't a great shield ( In my opinion, if you're going to go for a shield for resistances I would suggest one that could also parry Dark hand may be useful but it has extremely low stability... Possibly a Fire Effigy Shield may be useful (has 90 Lightning 84 Fire Resist and 45 Magic Resist) Unsure. Best if you make the informed decision yourself

Re: My first legit pvp build
All I'd suggest is switching your stone plate ring for the leo ring. You'll get more use out of it. The stone plate rings offer very little benefit. I like how you're not worried about the "best" gear or "best" stats.

You have 2 of the most underrated weapons for PvP lol. It's a 40/40 so it doesn't matter. As you're med rolling I highly recommend you get to at least 93 poise.

fast rolling and poise is overrated good sir, no greatsword is any match to my 2h warpick Im visually unstoppable. Hurr hurr. If i can wreck with a mildred cosplay i should have no problems here. I beleive in my underrated crap equipment! including the plate rings!WyrmHero wrote:You have 2 of the most underrated weapons for PvP lol. It's a 40/40 so it doesn't matter. sure, im a little rusty since i havent played since borderlands came out, damn that thing is good. i actually dont remember about the large club but we can always try everything, like dung pies and other stuff just to make sure but i am 100% sure it protects you against poison arrows.

Re: My first legit pvp build
Remember im useing what people wouldent. although not used much i still see the spider shield used a bit. ima have to stick to my guns. How about everybody else here? make your own builds with under rated stats/armor/gear and post it here.RantFromRant wrote:looks good, use the spider shield(one of my fave) it looks badass and it protects you against those annoing poison arrows.

Re: My first legit pvp build
i have been pllaying since day one and only seen people use the spider shield twice i think, i love it and ue it a much as i can. my str builds use a lot of weapons that no one else uses, like the mace, pickaxe and battleaxe(for my bandit cosplay). its just youre reg str build but with underused weapons.

Re: My first legit pvp build
I remember when i made my heavy metal priest cosplay. i experimented with the cresent axe. but it never did nearly as much damage to invaders as i hoped. But maybe i never gave it enough of a chance at the time...sparkly-twinkly-lizard wrote:http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/?c=3208567834770805

Re: My first legit pvp build
Nice i like the fact that your useing the whip (btw i liked how you used it to beat "themartyrsbrigade99" on youtube) The hand axe is a great choice aswell i experimented with it and got good results. very fast r1 attacks. But your east wood grain ring threw me off. Why are you useing that?TehInfamousAmos wrote:http://tinyurl.com/9ghgnlf

Re: My first legit pvp build
Ahh i see, i dident know it was crystal alrighty then. I also learned too that since my mag defense is at about 275 The spell plate ring adds 50 which is actually about a 20% increase thats not bad. So with lighter builds that have lower defense propertys The stone plate rings can actually increase your defenses a considerable amount... think about it.TehInfamousAmos wrote:Crystal Hand Axe And just for uniqueness xD

Haha, oh trust me - it is a fun build to play. Love casually hitting people with a 1h murakumo dash attack without RTSr for 900 damage xD
