161 Poise. What in the world can effectively stun someone with this much poise?
So yeah, I've been walking around with some Full Havel and a Wolf Ring and it is surprisingly effective because no one expects you to be practically immune to their stunlocking attempts. They just go, rush in and expect to beat down a walking fortress with pure brutal power. They only realize their mistake as they get stunlocked to death by my Zwei.

At least in the forest. All I get in the Burg is BS fishers for the most part.
So yeah, overstacking much? Anything silly you ever done that has surprised you in its effectiveness?

Surprisingly effective and silly? I was running around the forest fighting the hunters, and was getting annoyed at all the spells that were filling the air.

So after one too many deaths, I stacked the fog ring, wolf ring, and great magic barrier. Just walked through spears. I was later messaged and informed that I looked like a giant balloon animal.

DSB arrows need 165 poise to completely negate. Also an unblocked CSS apparently stunlocks no matter your poise.

@Dough: How can you know you need 165 poise to resist DSGB arrows if 161 is the maximum poise?
@Wyrm: Fat rolling. Rolling is overrated once you learn how to dodge most spells without rolling or you prepare for them with a nice shield.

Havel's shield r2 also gives you a "veritable *** ton of poise" to boot.

I was running with 161 poise in the Burg and Kiln last night. Once people realised they couldn't damage or stagger me, they went in for backstabs. When that didnt work (i just circled round to counter)...well... they didn't realise cos' they were dead ^_^
Fat rolling is hilarious as well. The only thing you cant dodge is spammage.
Just gotta be careful against the parry'ers.
