-weapons that depend on poise to stunlock
-weapons with horrible roll attacks
-weapons with useless running attacks
List with details:
-Daggers: Little Falchion-like spamming machines. Buff them for better results.
-Straight Swords: Only the non R2 poke swords (ie. Darksword, Barbed SS). 2 hand the sword and spam R1, your high poise will tank any trade hits and hopefully you'll stunlock them. It's almost like a slow Falchion.
-Greatswords: These are the best friends of tanks. All the greatswords except the Claymore have horrible roll R1 and the 360 running attack is so easily avoidable. Use your R1 spamming skillz.
-UGS: Not sure about this one, as you're left wide open with every missed hit, and the need to fast roll away can save your butt in heated combat. The roll R1 poke is amazing so I think these should only be used same as Greatswords, R1 only.
-Curved Swords: Ever died by a buffed PGS? Yeah.
-Curved Greatswords: The perfect tank weapons with a variety of one handed attacls and 2 handed stunlock. Roll attacks suck, and the running R1 could work with the slow walk, as it covers great distance. 1 handed R2->R2 combo for the win.
-Rapiers: Only for turtling in my opinion.
-Greataxes: Same dilemma as UGS, should be use only for stunlock.
-Spears: Turtling.
-Halberds!: Especially the Halberd. R1 spamming pokes are OP. I bet you haven't seen many of these, but they destroy. Roll R1s are somewhat predictive and running attacks make me laugh.
That's pretty much it, if you have any suggestions or ideas for tank weapons be sure to post.
