    Why don't NPC's behave?

Post by SlakeMoth on Sun Feb 12, 2012 7:15 am

I've just had no luck at all with NPC's on my first run through. Solaire got killed by the Hellkite after he attacked me and I ran away, Kirk killed me in Lost Izalith just as I was going for the Bed of Chaos. He hadn't appeared in the Demon Ruins because I hadn't got the Lord Vessel, so what he was doing there, I've no idea. I couldn't find Paladin Leroy in the Tomb of Giants and when I went back after I'd placed the Lord Vessel he didn't invade nor did Xanthos in the Lost World of Ariamis. Siegmeyers thread I managed to mess up on my own by talking to him in Lost Izalith, so I never got to save him and meet him in Ash Lake (grr-I really needed that slab) and Big Hat Logan refused to go hollow and go to the room where you first meet Seath. That was the final straw for me, so I killed him then & there. I was fed up with leaving the Duke's Archives and struggling through that 1st room again and again. Luckily, I did get the last spell & the trophy but I have a feeling I was lucky.

Npc's are great fun, the last 5 times against sexy spider lady the best npc in the the game(me) has just stood by the fog gate and watched me solo quelaag. I think she likes to co-op there because she is a perv.

Edit to say.... Hi fellow kiwi^
