Yes, yes I am. A good antagonist needs a good confrontation, which Trixie lacked, and Babs was annoying to begin with.

Yeah, Trixie had a weak reason but Babs had a good reason for what she did imo it was just executed rather sloppy .

For example instead of Applejack just telling the CMC that she was bullied perhaps we should have seen Babs looking more like she regrets what she does rather than enjoys it since she knows what its like to be bullied .

But i would have prefered it if she didnt went Bully at all since Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon are already established Bully Characters .
But then we would have missed out on dat song

It's actually a very timely message for me at least since I'm about to spend a week out of town, and consequently away from all my games, friends, computer, and other normal sources of personal entertainment, visiting family for the holidays. I love'em to death, but would it kill them to have something other than Wii Sports and to talk about something besides Football?



Anyway, I actually found I really liked this episode. AJ finally got her own song, it never really felt too forced, we got some really good Granny Smith moments, and they actually fixed Bab's voice (okay, it still wasn't perfect, but it was definitely bearable this time). Still doesn't quite bump AJ up out of my #6 spot, but she's alot closer to Rarity now

At least Reaper's giving out the hope.

I also enjoyed todays episodes. It's one of my favorites of this season.

I thought today's episode was good even if Applejack was slightly out if character. She always struck me as the more level-headed and pragmatic of the 6 and she certainly wasn't that today. On the other hand, it seemed to fit with her competitive nature.

More importantly, more Applejack is always welcome. Overall - 77/100.

Loved the dancing pig, as well.

It was I nice change to see Apple Jack take the spot light this episode. Who's next!?

Spike I believe is the focus of the next episode.

That's a surprisingly deep and skillful way for a kid's show to handle something of that gravity.

In "Cutie Mark Chronicles" we saw AJ without a Cutie Mark she also said that she was even Younger than the CMC when she earned her CM .
But we did not see her Parents or Applebloom in "Cutie Mark Chronicles"
AJ is 22 or 21 in Season One and Applebloom 8 or 9 so it is impossible for Applebloom to be born in "Cutie Mark Chronicles" .

Overall .
I think she is the most Intelligent Character from the main cast.
She may not know much about Math or Books etc but she certainly knows what she does and always has good and logical Reasons for what she does and is the most down on earth Character in the Show because she had such a tough life .
For example when Twilight gets all freaked out about the Library in "The Crystal Empire" AJ gave a rather Deadpan and allmost Annoyed response to Twilights childish and inappropriate behavior .

I believe she is so stubborn at times because she doesnt want to dissapoint her Parents .

I cant really put it in Words now but this little Scene added so much to her Character

I thought the new episode was alright for the most part I've seen the episode layout used with different shows, but I have to agree with Marino that it did show a lot of character development with Applejack. It was pretty easy though to catch the falling stars in the background though since it did make a bit of a loud noise when they flew by, but oh well I liked it.

I'm just driving myself crazy right now waiting for an episode about Fluttershy. Ugh, I'm giving myself a headache.

Looks like you're in luck Grin, S3 E10 is called "Keep Calm and Flutter On" which really sounds like an Episode for Flutters

Flutters is the least realized and most confusing character in this show perhaps this Episode clears things up finally ?


Also i am not really looking forward to "Spike at your Service"... I dont know it just doesnt sound good to me i have a really Bad feeling about it :|
