Lifehunt Chronicles: Tales from the Painted World Empty Lifehunt Chronicles: Tales from the Painted World

Post by hageshisa Tue Sep 11, 2012 10:37 am

This is a dedicated thread about all the stories we make from defending our beloved Queen, Priscilla and our World Aramis.

I also want to mention that I'm not sure if this thread should be in the Covenants section, so if not Im truely sorry.

Story from 15 minutes ago, on my sl60 dw Lifehunter. And to be honest, this has never happend to me before while playing this game.:

I spawned on the bridge as usual and started to run up the stairs. It´s always the same thoughts... same thoughts about what the hell my oppenent will do to piss me off. I mean, in this sl lots of ppl are questing in the area so it´s not easy to pick up a good fight. Finally when i get up, no ones is there waiting for me, as expected.

I beggin to run up the first stairs after the first hollows. I notice the enemies are dead, and the shortcut closed. When I come up where the first archer stands I see a whie phantom waiting for me at the other stairs. He was equiped with a spear, shield and custom heavy armor. To my surprise he bowed to me so I bowed back.

Our fight went pretty fast, since most of the people here underestimate my build. He only landed one hit with his spear on me, then it was game over. And even thou I was paranoid someone would BS the living shi- out of me, I bowed anyway. The damage he did was so small that I didn´t mind wasting a humanity, so I thought about where the host could be and continued to run up the stairs. Suddenley there was a second white phantom lurking around the corner that WotG me.

Needless to say, our fight went pretty fast. He hit me with the first spell, but I dodged the other 2 he had waiting for me. Rolled down to where i fought the first one and got him with two quick hits. And as I bowed to him I saw the host came running with his Zweihander and I thought to myself: "This is the end.".

Amazingly the host waited for me, then we bowed at each other and had the final fight for the session. Heck, he even waited for me to heal.

    The End

I count it as 3 good guys. Even though he got me off-guard with the WotG he could have easly assisted his fellow white phantom, but he didn´t. That´s good enough : )

Very Nice Idea Blue!!! I like your initiative!!

    I have a short story:

I fought half a Glatts during the war lol He invaded for the second or third time but this time he was only half a man...no legs!! It was so odd to fight someone who was only half there that i was laughing so hard i could barely fight. As a matter of fact...i think i lost that one lol!

oh, by the way Glatts gg's as usual happy

Lifehunters lets help keep this thread bumped up with cool, funny, or informative stories...i know i will Blue happy

I won a 3v1 dual wielding dark hands as a gravelord in the arena at PW.

pure luck, one does not win 3v1s with fist weapons.

Lol, i vaded a 3v1 yesterday, a kat user white, a int/str with a dragon bone and a mlgs and the host iron tarkus with a spear and bkga. So they were camping near the bonfire trying to sneak attack me but the whites wb was sticking out of the wall, so i acid surge them then try to run through the gate but its closed i run up the stairs and then to that tower were the finger is all 3 of them got confused running around like stupid till the kat user gets separated so i bs him and then he switches to a spear n starts r1 spamming and i parry him for the kill. I run back to the bonfire and the 2 were waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs i already lost about 1/4 of my hp and they start shooting at me so i just stand there till rtsr activates then i cas chaos fb and bs the gold i run to the gate that was now opened and cast another acid then i run through the cloud and tempest them gold dead. The host flips out and immediately charges at me with hes bkgs and spear into my target shield....

*Dough uses disguise, its supper efffective*
So once I was vading in the PW and I kept coming across a spawn camper using the MLGS. This was on my dual wielding toon too. SO after dying about 3 times I got angry and equipped a shield. He runs up to me and swings, I parry his first hit for about 50% of his hp. He ran all the way back to the bonfire. He did kill me with a BS but I was laughing at how scared he was.

Lifehunt Chronicles: Tales from the Painted World Empty Re: Lifehunt Chronicles: Tales from the Painted World

Post by hageshisa Fri Sep 14, 2012 8:20 pm

As days fly by, I increase the number of my stories. Here is another adventure from Blue! (its about an hour old as I write)

So I stood at our meeting spot in PW waiting for Jovi to summon me since he was going to host sl99. Ofcourse some other douchebag got me instantley and without knowing I was in a foreign world with 30% hp and toxic on my arse. As you can understand, I was really unprepard and they totally went for a "off-guard gank" attempt.

It took me a second or two to actually understand that I wasn't in Jovi's world (I was in chat when I got summoned), but when I did realize I started to run. Damn it, I ran like Forest freakin Gump. Suprisingly I managed to outrun them, which i rarely do. To be truely honest, I did not remember much about their gear. The white phantom had heavy armor and a great shield I believe, and all I remember about the host is that he didnt have any light armor, thats for sure.

So I start running to the arena, making the Zombie dragon my first check point. I didn't know what to do, I'm usually not good with tactics, so I continued to run. When I reached the Zombie dragon, I headed straight for the house with lots of tocixheads and hoped I'd lost them on the way there. As I healed up with blossom and a twin humanity I saw them coming in to the house, and in the exact same moment I saw that a spirit of Vengeance was about to spawn.

I was happy that this could turn out to a 2v2 so I start running toward the begining (area with first three hollows) and yet again hoping I would lose the host and the white phantom. And to my surprise, they didn't follow me, but as I reached the stairs, down to where the first three mobs spawn, I saw the SoV coming towards me with a DMB buffed Uchi or Washing Pole. In my attempts to roll past him in the stairs I got hit once or twice in is down to about 50%ish

I was kinda frustrated that he decided to attack me when he got here to punish someone else, but little did he know that I already was outnumberd. So he fails to kill me and I start running towards the arena once again, but this time I actually had a plan. I wanted to surprise both the hosting party and the SoV. I reach the arena with the SoV up my arse, but they wern't there. Praying to our Queen that they were waiting on the zombie dragon bridge.

And for the first time, I actually predicted my enemies movement. When we came up the the bridge there they were, waiting for us. But since I was short on HP I ran into the house with the tovicheads once again, and heald up. Before I even got started, I saw that they killed the SoV with ease. I started to panic once again since my plan failed, I excpected more from that SoV, so I started buffing myself with green blossom and DMB, ready to strike.

So I fly out to the little "bridge" (after the hosue, towrad the zombie dragon bridge), where the white phantom waits for me. I start to cast as GCF at him, but miss.. Cast one more, and got a lucky hit, but it wasn't enought. Whitey sure was a tank. So I falled back into the house again, feeling pretty powerless...

Waiting I saw both of them enter thru the door, so I thought for myself "It's now or never" so I put on my berzerk mode and just run towards them. I targeted to host to increase my odds, so when I reach him I "run-r1" attacked him and hit the shield. I don't remember if i tried a r2 that hit, or if it was a regular r1 but I finally got in my first hit. I continued to spam r1 til he dead, like a true berzerker.

I managed to survive the invasion with about 70-80%hp. and needless to say this was my most intense and fun invasions ever!

    The End

P.S Please don't forget to post your own, awesome stories from the Painted World of Aramis!
