Go Wyrm! I remember that time we were in Painted World at the edge close to where you find King Jeremiah. We both heard something that sounded like a crystal lizard and spent like 30 minutes walking around that area looking for some secret and throwing prism stones all over the place. Lol. Also he organized lots of PvPs events.

I have a problem with these polls. Not because I'm never nominated but because I think they're divisive and also it's always the same people who get nominated (best avatar etc.) Oh oh, sour grapes I hear you muttering. Not so. I've been around long enough to know that this sort of thing doesn't matter a jot in the great scheme of things.

However, at the risk of being accused of being inconsistent, I would like to nominate Icelfrit666 for his post in the Off Topic section headed 'Funny Video' which made me laugh so much. I think sometimes this forum is lacking in the humour department.

I kind of agree with this. I mean my first thought was oh hell Im never even possibly going to get into this, and still probably wont, I mean sure give a shout out to the guys like Tolvo, Blaine, and WKnight and all those guys who started and specialised in the various elements of the game. But beyond that I agree that it is divisive....

...because right now its off topic and forest hunters in the list..... you are a sly one Amos!

I nominate Slake, she's been around a long time and is always there to spread the wisdom she has.

Yeah I mean there are so many people who I would suggest are worthy of being in this kind of thread. You amongst them Tolvo for all the advice/ help you gave me when I got started on the forum.... but I cant possibly nominate them all can I?

I'd say most of what I contribute doesn't come from actual skill or attentiveness, I just have much more time on my hands than the rest of you guys.

But yeah, there is no way we'll ever nominate everyone that deserves to be listed.

Plus to some people, it also might make them feel like we have some sort of elite circle they are excluded from.

Thank you Tolvo, that's a really nice gesture but I really don't deserve to be there as all I've ever contributed is the odd post here and there just like so many other people who comprise the vast majority on this forum.

The reason why I wrote my original post on this thread was because I've formed the impression that for some this forum is more than just any old forum, it's a lifeline, a place where they feel at home and belong. This is why I think that this kind of poll is divisive because these people may feel alienated or unimportant and that's just not true. Apologies for going on a bit.

Slake - you have been part of this forum for so long... You're deserving of a place on the list.

Well Amos I've been on this earth for a long time too but I don't expect to be buried in Westminster Abbey. Nice of you though.

Id say DamageCK and Glatts those two allways help out with PVP questions

Slake, actually you've been a bigger part than you think here. I would say you're one of the most candid members and always post intelligently and more importantly politely. I've seen you slow down some topics about to derail and cool a thing or two off. Also, for a time you used the forum kind of like a Dark Souls diary, letting us share in your progress, trials and triumphs. You've encouraged when others might not and discouraged when others should have. Don't think we don't notice.

But you make a good point. I don't dislike the idea here but it is a familiar list. As for me, my only notable contribution is the term "lemon buff" which started way back in the day as "lemon fresh power of the sun." So yeah, I haven't added much here that's "useful."

As for nominations: There can be only one, meaning I nominate Connor McCloud for all his decapitations of his enemies. Well done sir!

what about roan, spurgun, wyrm, tolvo, damage, forum, eki.. i don't usually agree with everything they say but i would never say they don't know what they're talking about... for pvp/pve at least.
