    Your top 5 mecha ever.

    5) Gundam (any gundam, though I praise any pirate themed gundam)
    4) PTX-140 Hardballer from Lost Planet
    3) Delphine from Break Blade
    2) Gurren Lagann
    1) Orbital Frame Jehuty from Zone Of The Enders

The golems of break blade are DEFINITELY that Yar, and Gundam tends to switch between 'real' robot and 'super' robot, especially with the recent AU.

There's more, of course, but I'd say atleast check out the Break Blade OVA, it being only 6 episodes.

I enjoy reading and watching story oriented stuff. Anime TENDS to go that route, but recently it's been going a bit more... episodic. Not a bad thing, but 'status quo is god' is ********.

I dont mind episodic as long as its well themed, but storylines are refreshing too.

Eureka 7 is kindof mecha. There are giant robots at least, and they're important.

Gungriffon for the xbox is a more real world take on mecha.

Mecha is a cool concept but I don't like how its done most of the time.

Do you guys know any games that have big badass mechas for PS3 (apart from Armored Core)? Would prefer if it's RPG.

Eh.... Well, Zone of the enders HD comes out this december. There was chrome hounds (bleh) But yeah, the video game market doesn't seem to have anything more than a niche for this sort of stuff, which blows.

You have to import it as well, and I'm pretty sure all the text is still in japanese only. I'm pretty sure you also have to modify your Xbox to just run it.

I assume from the Op this is literally like the actual machines(in most cases) we are talking about. Not anime/video games? I'm actually not that into mecha, despite what it may seem like from my list lol

    1- Evangelion Unit 01
    2- Metal Gear Rex
    3- Gundam 00
    4- Jehuty
    5- Gurren Lagann
