Piercing weapons have high crit rates. With enough humanity, a chaos weapon does more crit damage than a normal weapon with high dex. Estoc is also a personal favorite of mine.

I didn't think the estoc got the critical modifier. Then again, I think all the piercing swords have a hidden modifier, just the estoc being on the lower end.

I would say that the knight chest is lighter and offers the same defenses as the eastern, but I prefer the eastern for style points. Overall it looks like a great build, though the coming month will determine if they'll patch the game and change the meta completely.

Thanks for the input. Although, I'm still playing on the PS3 version, pre-DLC. So as I've tested the estoc is my personal best choice, because it won't only be used for backstabbing purposes. It only scores a few points under the rapier, and scores above most other piercing weapons I tried out.

Aye, no prob. But what's a king without his crown? I did an armor edit, and changed rings so you'll get hopefully 3rd tier midroll. Best I could do, but on the brightside you're now poise tanking like a king.

That's a good possibility. I might try it both ways and see what I like. silly
