advice for a pyro build?

I made a pyro build yesterday (link) . And i'm really liking it so far. But i've heard that there are some combos you can do with the pyromancies, could anyone give me some advice?

You know how fire whip hits twice? If you're unlocked you can turn left then right the trigger the second hit earlier than it would happen if you wait for it.

I was going to say Roar Fire Surge is great for turtle breaking, but you're not in dragon body on this build (what's happening to the world)

The biggest thing is to practice unlocked GCFB

I med roll with heavy armor for strength weapons and i use CoD for casters nowadays, but i still use the dragon body on my dex toons. I will also try it out with this build.

I've used all the pyros unlocked, and my favorites are fire whip (1200 damage if the whole whip hits), GC (self explanatory), tempest and GCFB.
I used the whip unlocked, but i didn't think that you could hit earlier with it. I might also have deadangled someone with it.

Whip *can* dead angle but it's not something I think can be done consistently since the backwards hitbox is tiny. There are actually parts of the animation associated with the two seperate hits, If you turn you can get them to be a little closer together than normal.

Maybe you could do some Fireball to the face + GC or Fire Whip. I saw your video and you need more practice with QFS's moveset. Most of the time curved swords work very well by just spamming R1 to break poise and stunlock.
