Ok so I was going to kill Gwyndolin until I read that killing him is a permanent Sin. Does this sin transfer to NG?

No, the sin doesn't transfer to new toons you create. Also, when you finish the game and starts the NG+ all your sins are gonne (even the perma ones).

Nope. Your sin does not reset after finishing the game.

I've always retained my sin when moving to the next NG+.

Ahhh...... so ..... it seems to be a bit of a mistery then. I dont have to kill him , but wanted to for completetion purposes and well the souls and items. For if anyone knows for certain one way or the other I would much appreciate it.

The perma sin is nulled out, so you can join the DMs in ng+, however the only way to get rid of indictments is to get killed by a dm.

Ok so just so I am clear on this , if I Kill Gwyndolin , sometime in the future I will have to let someone in the DM covenant kill me to get rid of the indictment? The rest of my sins however will be reset in NG?

No, killing him is a sin that going to ng+ will clear. One can only be indicted by invading and killing another player. Unless you're a gravelord.
