Kalameet...HATE!!!!

Okay guys Im level 40 and I have cleared the all the content in the game....except THIS JERK. No matter what i do i cant beat this guy. Heck I can barely hurt him. The worst part is i dont even care about hurting him i just want his tail cut off, but out of my 23 runs i have only hit his tail once doing 100 out of 1500 of its hp. Maybe not tonight but can someone help me out with this jerk. he is the bane of my existance.

Ok i have been playing vs him non stop and i have learned his move set and can steady dodge him reliably. Im getting really long fights with him but still few oppurtunities to hit is tail....then he 1 shots me -.-

You can try leveling up a bit, at around level 65 he was cake.



Also, EpicNameBro has a video where he teaches you how to cut his tail..

Basically on his dragon dive, roll to the side, and when he lands he'll try hitting you with his tail and keep it on the ground for a couple of seconds, just enough to get two hits in it.

if you summon help for the fight the tail gain more hit points... if you have a nice vertical slashing weapon (BKGH BKS...) and you are fast rolling, is not that hard to cut the tail off

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I BEAT HIM!!!!!

Took 20 hits on his tail to cut ti off with a fully upgraded Fire Zweihander. I had to take off 2/3rds of his total hp IN JUST TAIL DAMAGE. Yes i know rolling and dodge his attacks gets easy with time, but still doesnt help when you have a 30 min fight just to miss time the dodge on one of his jumping head sweep attacks and your character gets stuck on his head and gets hit twice INSTANT KILLING me from FULL HP.

Nice job! These new boss fights are real marathons for low sl runs. The bosses seem incredibly resistant to elements; it seems like only the physical is getting through. I was surprised when my maxed out Chaos Falchion's 2-handed R1 only hit Artorias for 75 damage in NG (with 10 humanity).

I'm sl 7, and I've been putting off Kalameet.

ya the Fire Zweihander i was using did 150 a hit. Twice the damage my lightning great scythe did.

I know at higher levels its best to use +15 normal weapons with scaling stats and resin on it

^Man, you do need to work a bit on finese Take a look at those vids, where guys take out the whole game with starting (non-levelled) character... The point is that you can dodge pretty much everything

if you are still having trouble, just don't lock on and go between his legs a lot, lock on when he's about to attack to block, then unlock, a great scythe (or even scythe) is the way to go, that's how I did it, also you will need fast roll.

Some people are masochists or play same game 100 times. I’m using keyboard and mouse and it is a bit inconvenient. For example parry required hitting tab while pressing shift and at same time you need to be ready to move forward or jump back. Try to put your fingers on all necessary keys at same time.))

Most of videos you see are done before some items were nerfed like wood ring, masks and few spells. 4 kings I kill right away as well as about 80% of other bosses but it took me about 30 tries to take out Tweedledum and Tweedledee. It is very inconvenient fight, first part is easy to tank but second required a lot of jumping around. Finally had to kill fat f..k with bow. Just my shield and sword put me over 25% and rolling even if done on time is kinda slow. We all have different styles of playing I prefer heavy builds and solo games, it is more fun for me. Unblockable AOE bosses are always a problem for tank.

You can avoid the Stray Demon's AoE simply by staying behind him.

And parrying sounds pretty dang tough using the keyboard.
