    Can someone please relate their experiences trying to invade as a Darkmoon on PC? I went in to NG+ last night, and I am going to kill O&S first thing today.

    I already have 2 characters for the 51-00 bracket.

    I am debating between staying at sl 100 with low dex/vit, or bumping up to 120 so I can have 40/40 and SLB and DMB. And invade as a darkmoon.

    I guess another option would be to remain a DW and just get an extra SLB. Any 120 DarkWraiths have thoughts?

    What I really want to know is, is invading as a Darkmoon consistent at all at 120? I figure it makes sense, since you can invade down to 100 or up to 120. However, my Darkmoons on ps3 were always much slower to invade than my Darkwraiths. The blue eye orb seemed to work 20% of the time on PS3.

    Can a PC user (or both) relate their experience?

    Not sure you will have a lot of invasions. Because of arena brackets, people go for SL 100 or SL 200. That means their invasion range would be SL90-110 and SL180-220. Since you are not in any of these ranges I can't promise you'll have enough pvp

    I thought invasion range worked off of the invader. That makes a huge difference. 120 could go from 98-132. But 100 should still be 80-120 following the +/- 10 levels +10% rule.

    Arena and invasions are two different things. I've heard the arena goes by brackets--not sure what the mechanics of that are though. In-game invasions go by your level.

    Darkmoon invasions ignore the level below restriction, and I believe the level above restriction but I'm not sure on the level above. Darkwraith invasions ignore the level above restrictions.

    I started my first Toon as a Darkmoon, all the way up to and even into NG+ Invasions have been real slow, and that's following the standard leveling path also through the entire game, capped at SL 105 and only a Darkmoon +1.

    Right, A few things. All of these are assuming the ptd version dm mechanics are the same.

    Dms invade within 10%+10 sls in either direction, but if the system fails to find a match within that restriction it then searches lower sls.

    There is no lower limit using the blue orb.

    Dm invasions are significantly less frequent that dw invasions.

    The dm ring invasions have no sl limit in either direction

    SLB is better than dmb, the damage difference is negligible but gmb/sms stops dmb entirely where there is no such spell for lightning.

    I can't say specifically for dm invasion rates on the pc, but I don't see why it would be any better, especially with a lower population.

    I am soooo happy I tried this. At Sl 110, I am getting a metric ****-ton of invasions in the new content areas. I have two sl 120 darkmoons on ps3; and I can honestly say that the invasion rate for darkmoon on pc is better.

    I am assuming it is because everyone is using the oolacile township area for pvp somewhere close to 100, and many folks are getting indicted here.

    This is totally the opposite of what I would have expected. I am literally having equal success as my 2 pc darkwraith toons (which are slower than ps3). The action is comparable to better compared to 120s blue eye orb in the burg and kiln (ps3).

    I really don't understand why it is working so well. Darkmoon on PC= 25+% success rate with blue orb.

    Mind = Boggled

    I should qualify everything I have just said by saying that PC multiplayer changes like the wind; and tomorrow, my success rate could very well drop to 0% for all I know....
