I voted one man army gravelords, i'm making one now and i think they define what is good about pvp, guys who just wanna wake on the world of glitchers and tank flippers and bs fishers with just their trusty sword and shield.

I think BS Fishermen defines PvP right now, but everything will change once DLC arrives.

Dwgr Will not change bs fishing, if anything it will make it worse since people will just switch to a chaos rapier.

Elemental Weapons have also been nerfed .
So a +15 Rapier with 30 DEX should be more efficient

At least the HR is going to be nerfed. BS aren't going away. Their obscene damage will be reduced slightly though.

From pivot BS, to roll bs to even HR strafe bs and poisestab. Backstab fishing is what defines PvP right now. Duel at the Burg with a Str weapon, you'll get roll bs everytime you miss. Invade at the forest, you'll get strafe bs from a ganker with HR. Many methods of backstabbing exist, including the amazing counter bs, and thank god for that. DWGR made the methods of backstabbing easier, because everyone moves at the fastest speed with heavy armor for poistabs and dodging through attacks with the insane i-frames for the roll bs.

I disagree. Besides getting roll BS punished for missing an attack it's entirely possible to never let an opponent have your back. Perhaps it's just my proclivity towards 'reachy' weapons like the BSS and Gscythe but I rarely find myself on the wrong end of a strafe or poise BS. (now whiffing a running attack....)
I think if I tallied up all the damage I inflicted on other players in the past week, Dead Angles, GC, and Leo Ring would be the top sources of damage. And if I had to tally up damage taken #1 would certainly be falls (most WoG induced) and Curved sword 1hr1 would be #2 (I have seen sooo many more of these than normal the past few days)

If you're wielding a Dex weapon, your chances of getting roll bsed are less than when using a Str weapon. This is because Dex weapons can spam R1s for backstab canceling (another technique of countering bs fishers) more easily than Str weapons. Backstab fishing includes many of the backstab techniques, not just strafing for a backstab constantly. For example, when I'm at low HP, I usually wait for my opponent to make a mistake, backstab him and win the fight. Just another method of backstab fishing.

And it only worked because your opponent foolishly made a mistake. If people just stopped doing that there'd be a lot less concern over what is / isn't OP
